使用温度域が10℃から30℃を想定した『LIGHT ZONE』のL-2Bは、1955年から改良に改良を重ねて1979年まで採用された比較的息の長いジャケットである。発汗時においても着脱が容易な滑らかなライニングを持ち、経糸のレーヨンに対し緯糸にはウールを織り込み、ウールを起毛する高価で手間の掛かるダブルフェイス生地を使用している。L-2B初期型の特徴はエポレットとポケットフラップ、ファスナー下部には三角タブが付き、外観上で同時期に採用されたMA-1と区別できる。このL-2Bは1958年に納入されたスカイライン・クロージング社の実名復刻モデルで、同時期にMA-1やN-2B、N-3Bまでも製作した確かな技術と生産キャパシティーを誇る質の高いコントラクターであった。
The Type L-2B jacket, which is designed for use in "LIGHT ZONE" (temperatures between 10°C and 30°C), is a relatively long-serving jacket that was used from 1955 until 1979, after repeated improvements. It has a smooth lining that is easy to put on and off even when sweating. It uses an expensive and time-consuming double-faced fabric in which the warp threads are made of rayon and the weft threads are woven with wool, and the wool is raised. Early L-2B model features epaulettes on shoulder, pocket flaps, and a triangular tab at the bottom of the zipper, distinguishing its appearance from the MA-1 adopted in the same era. This L-2B is a reproduction of the model that Skyline Clothing Corporation delivered in 1958. The company was a high-quality contractor boasting solid technology and large production capacity that also produced the MA-1, N-2B, and N-3B during the same period.
