JAPANESE/ENGLISH
1969年にベトナムに駐留していた兵士がカスタムオーダーで仕立てた一着。戦地で平和を願い、スヌーピーの絵柄とともに「HAPPINESS IS LOVING YOUR ENEMIES」という名言が刺繍されている。ベトジャンはベトナム戦争時に個人のオーダーで作られていたため様々なバリエーションが存在するが、このようなリブ袖のモデルはヴィンテージでも珍しい。

VIETNAM JACKET

戦後の日本で誕生したスカジャン同様、1960年代から1970年代のベトナム戦争時に生まれたスーベニアジャケットが、通称ベトジャン。コットンツイル、もしくはカモフラージュ柄のポンチョライナーの2種類の生地が主に使われ、マットな太めの色糸で絵柄が刺繍されている。
