2023年秋冬モデル 一部商品の発売中止のお詫び
整備士用に採用されたムートン製ジャケット、D-1の後継モデルとして登場したD-2パーカーは、1944年に陸軍航空隊の極寒地作業用スーツのジャケットとして一時的に支給された。その採用は短期間であったために生産数も少なく、稀少性の高いジャケットである。表地に用いられた素材は、対防風性を意識してコットンポプリン生地を総二枚張りした非常に贅沢な仕様。降雪時にフードを被るとフードトリムのコヨーテファーが雪の侵入を防ぐ役目を持っていながらも、着用者側からは視界を良好に保つ優れたディテール。アルパカライニングはスナップボタンで取り外しが可能で、アウターシェルだけで冬季以外もレインウェアとして使用できるよう設計されている。整備士用であるためにフライトジャケットほどの運動性とフィット感は必要とせず、プルオーバー式で着脱するため全体にルーズなシルエットを持つのが特徴。当時支給されたD-2パーカーはS、M、Lの3サイズのみであったが、XLとXXLも特別に展開している。
The D-2 Parka, adopted as the successor to the D-1 jacket specifically used for mechanics, was temporarily issued as a jacket for extreme cold weather operations by the Army Air Forces in 1944. Due to its short adoption period, the production numbers of this jacket were limited, making it a highly rare and sought-after piece. The material used for the outer shell is a luxurious and wind-resistant double-layered cotton poplin fabric. The coyote fur trim on the hood serves the purpose of preventing snow intrusion while still providing excellent visibility for the wearer when the hood is worn. The alpaca lining can be detached with snap buttons, allowing the outer shell to be uses other than winter. As it was intended for mechanics, it didn't require the same level of mobility and fit as flight jackets, thus featuring a loose silhouette and a pullover design for easy on and off. The original D-2 Parka issued at the time was available in only three sizes: S, M, and L, but it is also offered in XL and XXL sizes as a special addition.
