ベトナム戦時に採用、支給された熱帯地用野戦服の通称『ジャングルファティーグ』は、トラウザーもジャケット同様で、ファーストモデルの露出したボタンはセカンドモデル以降隠しボタンとなり、カーゴポケットの中身を固定するストラップも廃止された。さらにウエスト調節タブもボタン式から金具式に変更され、素材もリップストップ生地となる。同じ生地を使用し、共通のディテールを持つショーツ「Lot No. BR51907」も展開。
So-called "Jungle Fatigues," the tropical field uniforms adopted and issued during the Vietnam War underwent modifications over time. While the first model had exposed buttons, later models featured concealed buttons to prevent them from getting caught on branches or equipment during jungle combat. The internal straps for securing the cargo pocket contents were removed, and the waist adjustment tabs were changed from buttoned to hardware fasteners, with the material upgraded to ripstop fabric. The first model had a short service period, making it extremely rare today.
