13oz.のブラウンダックで仕立てたハンティングジャケット。1950年代頃のAmerican Field社のヴィンテージをベースに、シルエットを重視して背面のゲームポケットを排除している。腰のパッチポケットは上下二段で収容力に富んでおり、襟や袖口、ポケット口などはコーデュロイで切替え、背中半分と外袖側のみに裏地が付く仕様。フロントと袖口のメタルボタンは鹿や犬、馬、狐などいろいろな動物柄がランダムで取り付けられている。
SUGAR CANE "FICTION ROMANCE"
実用性に基づくディテールや機能性を追求した縫製仕様など、ヴィンテージウェアにみられる色褪せない魅力。史実や当時の資料を紐解き、失われたディテールを蘇らせ、それらをシュガーケーンが独自に組み合わせることで生まれる虚構(Fiction)の物語(Romance)を具現化した作品群。
A hunting jacket crafted from 13oz. brown duck, based on a 1950s vintage piece by American Field. The design omits the rear game pocket to emphasize silhouette. Large patch pockets at the waist are arranged in two tiers for extra storage. Corduroy reinforces the collar, cuffs, and pocket edges. Partial lining covers the upper back and outer sleeves. Metal buttons at the front and cuffs are decorated randomly with various animal motifs such as deer, dogs, horses, and foxes.

By reviewing and examining the documents of the time, Sugar Cane has revived a full range of functional details that are typical of the vintage work wear. It then combined the individual authentic details and uniquely applied them into their own items under the name of “Fiction Romance.”
